Agency Fee

Agency Fee: Starting at $34,000

There is a $5,000 discount available for Intended Parents also utilizing our egg donor program.

The agency fee covers coordination, matching support, and ongoing case management throughout the surrogacy journey.

​

Payment Schedule:

• $3,000 due upon signing

• $15,500 due upon matching

• $15,500 due upon legal clearance

Surrogate Compensation

Surrogate Base Compensation:
$60,000 – $100,000+

Compensation varies based on:

• Experience (first-time vs. repeat surrogate)

• Location

• Insurance coverage

• Individual expectations

Payments are typically distributed in monthly installments beginning after confirmation of pregnancy and continuing through delivery.

Additional Surrogate-Related Costs

These costs are separate from base compensation and are standard in most surrogacy arrangements.

Medical Screening

Surrogate medical evaluation (lab work, ultrasound, physical exam) is paid directly to the fertility clinic.

Legal Fees

Estimated starting at $6,000

Includes:

• Intended parents’ attorney

• Surrogate’s independent legal counsel

• Contract drafting and parental rights establishment

Escrow Management

$1,850 – $2,000

Funds are managed through a third-party escrow provider.

Insurance

• Health insurance (if not already surrogacy-friendly)

• Surrogacy-specific maternity policies (if needed)

• Life insurance: $600 – $800+

Surrogate Allowances & Fees

• Contract signing bonus: $2,500

• Medication start fee: $1,500

• Embryo transfer fee: $1,500 per transfer

• Monthly allowance: $200/month

• Maternity clothing: $800

Travel Expenses

Estimated: $5,000 – $8,000+

Includes:

• Flights

• Accommodations

• Ground transportation

• Companion travel

Per diem: ~$125/day for food ($75/day for surrogate and $50/day for companion)

Lost Wages

Compensation is provided for:

• Surrogate’s missed work

• Companion travel time

Amounts vary based on employment and time required.

Additional Contingent Costs

• Cesarean section: $4,000

• Twin pregnancy: $10,000

• Invasive procedures: $500 each

• Bedrest support (childcare, housekeeping) as needed

Breast Milk Pumping (Optional)

If agreed upon:

• $250/week

• Plus supplies and shipping costs
